Dan Lewis is a member of the Albuquerque, New Mexico City Council, representing District 5. He was elected to the council in 2009.[1]

In 2012, Lewis was a Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 1st Congressional District of New Mexico. He withdrew from the race following the results of the Republican pre-primary convention.[2]
