Dana Murphy is the current chair of the Oklahoma Corporation Commission. She was first elected to a partial, two-year term on the commission on November 4, 2008. In 2010 she was elected to a full, six-year term.[1]

Biography

Prior to obtaining her law degree, Murphy worked as a geologist for 10 years. Afterwards she served for nearly 6 years as an administrative law judge at the OCC. She owned and operated a private law firm focused on oil and gas title, regulatory practice and transactional work.[1]
