A Davenport City Amendment 3: Prohibiting Sewer System Expansion proposition was approved on the April 2, 2013 election ballot in Polk County, which is in Florida.

This measure amended the Davenport City Charter to prohibit the City from expanding the sewer system for connection to residences with onsite septic systems to charge fees to the owners of such residences.[1]

City Sewer System Not Be Expanded and Made Available to Residential Properties With Septic Systems.

Should the City Charter be amended to create a provision prohibiting the City from expanding its sewer system for connection to residences with onsite septic systems existing as of January 1, 2012, from making its system available for connection to said residences, and from requiring the owners of said residences to pay any fees, costs or assessments associated with the care, maintenance or expansion of the City's existing or future sewer system.

Shall the above-described amendment be adopted?[1][2]
