Dean Phinazee is the Democratic District 6 representative on the Dougherty County Board of Education in Georgia. He defeated fellow challenger Princess Milledge in the runoff election held on July 22, 2014. He ran unopposed in the general election on November 4, 2014.
The November 4, 2014, general election in Dougherty County School System featured three seats up for election. Since all Democratic candidates won the primary election on May 20, 2014, and there were no Republican challengers to face them, they were all running unopposed. They were incumbent Milton Griffin in District 2 (who was also unopposed in the primary), newcomer Melissa Strother in District 4 and Dean Phinazee in District 6.
