Deborah Graham is a member of the Chicago, Illinois City Council, representing Ward 29. She was appointed to serve a partial term on the council on March 15, 2010, by former Chicago Mayor Richard Daley, following the resignation of Issac Carother. She won election to a full term in 2011.

Before becoming a member of city council, Graham was a Democratic member of the Illinois House of Representatives from 2002-2010, representing District 78.[1]

The city of Chicago, Illinois will hold elections for city council on February 24, 2015. A runoff, if necessary, will take place on April 7, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was November 24, 2014.[2] In the general election for Ward 29, incumbent Deborah L. Graham will face Bob Galhotra, Lawrence Andolino, Chris Taliaferro, Maurice J. Robinson, Lisa Jackson, Zerlina A. Smith, Oddis "O.J" Johnson, Stephen Robinson and Brenda Smith. Deborah D. Williams withdrew from the race in December 2014.[3]
