Delaware Governor's race takes shape
As an owner of a Mailboxes Etc. franchise, Cragg is emphasizing jobs in his campaign.
Cragg is at a monetary disadvantage, with Governor Markell already reporting $1.4 million in campaign funds. While acknolwedging this, Cragg says, "We're going to have enough money to engage the governor on the issues and I think he's going to have his hands full."
Markell was elected as governor in 2008, when he received over 67 percent of the vote.
Two other Delaware executive offices were up for election in 2012: Lieutenant Governor and Insurance Commissioner. Sher Valenzuela, a businesswoman, has announced she will run for Lieutenant Governor; the incumbent is Democrat Matthew Denn.
