Dennis M. Canario (b. August 18, 1960) is a Democratic member of the Rhode Island House of Representatives, representing District 71. He was first elected to the chamber in 2012.

He served on the Portsmouth Town Council from 2004 to 2010. He held the position of Council President for two years.

Biography

Canario earned his associate’s degree in Criminal Justice from Roger Williams University in 1988. His professional experience includes working as a police officer for the Portsmouth police department before retirement.[1]
