The Detroit Economic Club (DEC) is a 501(c)(3) formed in 1934 as a non-partisan, non-profit organization committed to the discussion and debate of important business, government and social issues.[1]

History

The Detroit Economic Club was established in 1934 in the midst of the Great Depression by Allen Crow. In 2002, the Economic Club of Detroit was reborn as the Detroit Economic Club under new leadership by Beth Chappell. It continues to be a coveted forum for prominent individuals worldwide to share their thoughts, express their opinions and let their voices be heard.[2]
