Don Quinn is a 2014 Republican candidate for District 30 of the Maryland State Senate.[1]

Biography

Quinn was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and grew up in India until he and his family return to the United States settling in Washington in 1999.[2]

Following the September 11th terrorist attacks, Quinn joined the United States Army. He served for nine years including tours in Operation Noble Eagle and Operation Iraqi Freedom.[2]

Professionally, Quinn has started and run advertising and marketing, consumer goods and consulting companies and service based businesses.[2]

Elections for the office of Maryland State Senate will take place in 2014. A primary election took place June 24, 2014. The general election will take place on November 4, 2014. The filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 25, 2014. Incumbent John Astle was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Eric Knowles faced Don Quinn in the Republican primary. Unofficial results show Quinn leading Knowles by three votes.[1][3]
