Donald P. (Don) Wagner (b. December 3, 1960) is a Republican member of the California State Assembly, representing District 68. He was first elected to the chamber in 2010. From 1994 to 1996, he was president of board of governors for the Republican Associates. He also served as a trustee/board president of the South Orange County Community College District from 1998 to 2010.


Wagner earned his B.A. from the University of California Los Angeles in 1983 and his J.D. from the University of California Hastings College of Law in 1987. His profession experience includes working as an attorney for Kindel and Anderson from 1987 to 1993, for Wagner and Associates from 1993 to 1998 and for Wagner Lautsch Limited Liability Partnership since 1998.

Elections for the office of California State Assembly will consist of a primary election on June 3, 2014, and a general election on November 4, 2014. The signature-filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 7, 2014. Incumbent Donald P. "Don" Wagner (R) will face Anne Cameron (D) in the blanket primary.[1]

Wagner won re-election in the 2012 election for California State Assembly District 68. Due to redistricting following the 2010 census, he was displaced from District 70. He and Christina Avalos (D) advanced past the blanket primary on June 5, 2012, unopposed. He was subsequently elected in the general election on November 6, 2012.[2][3]
