There were two seats on the school board up for election on September 17, 2013. Incumbents Dorothy Williams and Ronnie L. Treat filed for and won re-election in Zones 1 and 4, respectively. Williams ran unopposed, but Treat faced challenger Vincent P. Myrick, whom the incumbent defeated in the district's first contested race since 2011.
