Draper Phelps was a 2012 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 3rd Congressional District of Maryland. He was defeated by Eric Delano Knowles in the Republican primary on April 3, 2012.

Phelps ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent Maryland's 3rd District. Phelps sought the nomination on the Republican ticket, but he was defeated by Eric Delano Knowles in the primary.[1]

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run was January 11, 2012.[2]
