A Durand City Transportation Levy Addition measure was on the August 7, 2012 ballot in the city of Durand, which is in Shiawassee County.

This measure sought to implement a transportation levy which would be set at a rate of $.17 per $1,000 of assessed value for a period of three years in order to pay for fund the city's portion of the Shiawassee Area Transportation Agency services. It was approved.

Text of measure

The question on the ballot:

Shall the City of Durand assess and collect .175 mills ($.175 per $1,000.00 of taxable value) for a period of 3 years, that being fiscal years 2012-2013 through 2014-2015, inclusive, for the purpose of subsidizing public transportation.[1][2]
