AnEast Valley School District Bond Measure was on the February 8, 2011 ballot in the East Valley school district area which is in Yakima County.

This measure was approved

  • YES 2,761 (70.56%)Approveda
  • NO 1,152 (29.44%)[1]

This measure sought to create a bond measure in the amount of $5.9 million in order to help build and furnish a new elementary school in the district.[2] The measure will add $.21 per $1,000 of assessed property value to the current property taxes for a further eleven years. Structural problems led to this bond measure, school officials noted the need to fix the problems.[3]
