Ed Cannaday (b. October 31, 1940) is a Democratic member of the Oklahoma House of Representatives, representing District 15. He was first elected to the chamber in 2006.

Biography

Cannaday earned his B.S. in Education and master's degree in History and Government from the University of Tulsa in 1968 and 1969, respectively. His professional experience includes owning a dairy farm, and working as an educator and principal. Cannaday served as a Sergeant in the United States Army from 1959 to 1962.

Cannaday won re-election to the Oklahoma House of Representatives. He defeated Annie J. Goolsby in the Democratic primary by a margin of 4,111-826. Cannaday defeated Paul C. Parrott (R) in the general election on November 2, 2010.[4]
