Eduardo A. "Eddie" Lucio, Jr. (b. January 20, 1946) is a Democratic member of the Texas State Senate, representing District 27. He was first elected to the chamber in 1990.[1]

Lucio served in the Texas House of Representatives from 1986 to 1990.

Biography

Lucio graduated with a B.S. from the University of Texas Pan American.

In addition to being a senator, Lucio is also President/Chief Executive Officer of Rio Shelters, Incorporated. Prior to this position, he was also advertising executive. Lucio has also served as the Cameron County Commissioner from 1979 to 1982 and also held the position of Cameron County Treasurer in 1970.[2]
