Edward A. Pone is a district court judge for the 12th Judicial District, serving Cumberland County of North Carolina. He has served in this position since 1996. Pone was most recently re-elected in 2012 for another four-year term that expires in 2016.[1][2][3]


Pone received his B.A. degree from North Carolina Central University in 1979 and his J.D. degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law at Chapel Hill in 1982.[1][4]
