BATON ROUGE, Louisiana: The Louisiana primary is only a day away. The weekend election features seven state executive races, 144 legislative races and five ballot questions.

Voters will have a chance to vote on three state budget measures, one health care proposal and one tax question. All questions, if approved, will amend or add sections to the Louisiana Constitution.

In comparison to other states with measures for the 2011 ballot, Louisiana's measures have not attracted a lot of campaign or media attention. According to the state campaign finance database, there are no currently registered PACs. Click here for media endorsements.

In Louisiana, 2011 marks the first odd-year election on ballot measure since 2003 when voters cast their ballot on 15 questions. But Saturday's ballot measures won't be the last of the year. One more constitutional amendment is scheduled to be voted on during the 2011 general election on November 19.

Polling hours on all election days are from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm, local time. Stay tuned for results!
