These measures sought to add additional levies to local property taxes in order to help pay for different services. The first proposal sought an increased levy of .35 mills for a further six years in order to help pay for road maintenance and repairs. The second proposal sought an increased levy of .6 mills for a further seven years in order to help pay for contaminated soil removal. The third proposal was for an increased levy of .2 mills for a further three years to help with the rehabilitation of the Historic Elk Rapids Township Hall.
