Emeryville Card Room Business License Tax, Measure K (November 2009)
Measure K asked voters to increase the business license tax imposed on card rooms from 9% to 10% of gross receipts or $1,000 per table, whichever is greater.
Emeryville, located between Berkeley and Oakland, had a population of 9,727 as of a 2008 estimate.

The editorial board of the "Contra Costa Times" supported a "yes" vote on Measure K.
