Judge Simpson received her bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law.[3]
Career
Judge Simpson was a Municipal Court judge of Athens-Clark County from 1999 to 2005. She then judged part-time on the Magistrate Court of this county from August of 2006 until her appointment to the State Court on December 7, 2007.[3]
