A Evans Fire District Levy Measures were on the November 1, 2011 ballot in the Evans fire district area which is in Weld County.

Both measures were approved

The first measure sought to increase the current district levy by a rate of 5.5 mills for one year in order to further pay for operation and maintenance costs as well as capital improvement projects in the district.

Issue 2B: SHALL EVANS FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT TAXES BE INCREASED $578,946 (FIRST FULL FISCAL YEAR DOLLAR INCREASE) ANNUALLY, BEGINNING IN LEVY YEAR 2011 FOR COLLECTION IN CALENDAR YEAR 2012, AND BY SUCH ADDITIONAL AMOUNT RAISED ANNUALLY THEREAFTER, BY A PROPERTY TAX OF 5.5 MILLS TO BE USED BY THE DISTRICT FOR: • MAJOR APPARATUS REPLACEMENT • FIREFIGHTER AND EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN STAFFING • EMERGENCY SERVICES EQUIPMENT AND TOOLS • OPERATIONS • MAINTENANCE • CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS PROVIDED, THAT THE DISTRICT'S TAX RATE SHALL NOT THEREAFTER BE INCREASED WITHOUT THE VOTERS' PRIOR APPROVAL; AND, PROVIDED ALSO, THAT THE REVENUE FROM THIS TAX AND ANY EARNINGS ON THIS TAX SHALL CONSTITUTE A PERMANENT VOTERAPPROVED REVENUE CHANGE WITHIN THE MEANING OF ARTICLE X, SECTION 20 OF THE COLORADO CONSTITUTION, AND AN EXCEPTION TO THE LIMITATIONS SET FORTH IN SECTION 29-1-301 OF THE COLORADO REVISED STATUTES AND ANY OTHER LAW?
