Evelyn Mazzucco was a 2014 Republican candidate for District 15 of the Illinois House of Representatives. She was removed from the ballot on January 7, 2014, after the Board of Election Commissioners for the City of Chicago found that Mazzucco had an insufficient amount of valid signatures.[1]

Elections for the office of Illinois House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on March 18, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature-filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was December 2, 2013. Incumbent John C. D'Amico ran unopposed in the Democratic primary and defeated Gregory A. Bedell (R), who filed to run on June 2, in the general election. Republicans Brad Dahlgren and Evelyn Mazzucco were both removed from the ballot on January 7, 2014.[2][3][4][5]
