The City of Everett City Council has adopted Ordinance No. 3171-10 to place a levy lid lift for the emergency medical services property tax levy before the voters.Should this proposition be approved?
For the continued funding of emergency medical care and services, including paramedic services, this proposition would allow the City to increase its emergency medical services property tax levy capacity up to the previously authorized rate of fifty cents ($0.50) per one thousand ($1,000) assessed valuation in 2011, and increase the levy each year thereafter as allowed by Chapter 84.55 RCW.
