- NO 2,517 (30.28%)
This measure sought to implement a bond in the amount of $25 million in order to help construct, remodel, repair and equip various school buildings in the district. This will not increase local property taxes, just keep them at their current rate.
The question on the ballot:
| Shall the Board of Education of the Ferguson-Florissant School District, St. Louis County, Missouri, borrow money in the amount of Twenty-Five Million Dollars
($25,000,000) for the purpose of acquiring, constructing, renovating, repairing, improving, furnishing and equipping school sites, buildings and related facilities in the District, including (1) safety measures and infrastructure, (2) maintenance of current facilities by continuing to fund major capital repairs and improvements, (3) renovations for instructional areas, and (4) technology infrastructure and classroom technology, and issue general obligation bonds for the payment thereof resulting in no estimated increase in the debt service property tax levy? If this proposition is approved, the adjusted debt service levy of the school district is estimated to remain unchanged at the current rate of twenty-eight cents ($0.28) per one hundred dollars assessed valuation of real and personal property.
