A Ferrysburg City Museum Levy Renewal measure was on the August 7, 2012 ballot in the city of Ferrysburg, which is in Ottawa County.

This measure sought to renew the current museum levy which is set at a rate of $.25 per $1,000 of assessed value for a further six years in order to continue to pay for the city's portion of the Tri-Cities Historical Museum.

Text of measure

The question on the ballot:

Shall the previously voted millage of (.25 per $1,000 of taxable value) upon all property assessed for taxes in the City of Ferrysburg, Ottawa County, Michigan, be replaced at .25 mill (0.25 per $1,000 of taxable value) for a period of six (6) years for levy in the years 2013 through 2018, inclusive, upon expiration of the previously voted millage to be paid to the Tri-Cities Historical Museum for the operation, maintenance, renovation and improvement of the Tri-Cities Historical Museum (currently located at the intersection of Washington Avenue and Second Street in the City of Grand Haven) which levy is estimated to raise $38,852 in the first year of the levy, and shall the City be authorized to levy said tax?[1][2]
