The Fitchburg Library Construction Referendum was referred to the November 4 ballot in Fitchburg, which is in Dane County. The purpose of the referendum is to issue debt in the amount of $10 million to be used for the construction of a new library.

Also on the ballot is a measure intended to supply the operating costs of the library, once built. It was defeated, while the construction referendum was approved. See Fitchburg Library Operation Costs Referendum (2008).
