A Florida Government Accountability Amendment did not make the November 6, 2012 ballot in the state of Florida as an initiated constitutional amendment. If enacted this measure would have amended the state constitution and added a fourth branch of government charged with ensuring duty and accountability in the state and local governments, as well as, maintaining the system of checks and balances written into them. The amendment was introduced by Justice -2- Jesus on December 20, 2007.[1]
