Kilfoil's opponents in the November 2 general election were Democratic candidate Denise Harlow and Republican candidate Kenneth Capron. According to unofficial results, Harlow defeated Capron and Kilfoil in the November 2 general election.[1] Democratic incumbent Charles Harlow did not seek re-election, although he was eligible to do so under Maine's term limits.
