A Fremont Township Road Levy Renewal measure was on the August 7, 2012 ballot in the township of Fremont, which is in Sanilac County.

This measure sought to renew the current road levy which is set at a rate of $2 per $1,000 of assessed value for a further four years in order to continue to pay for road and bridge maintenance costs in the township. It was approved.

The question on the ballot:

Shall the previous voted increase in the tax limitation imposed under Article IX, Sec. 6 of the Michigan Constitution in Fremont Township, of 2.0000 mills ($2.00 per $1,000 of taxable value), reduced to 1.9588 mills by the required millage rollbacks, be increased to and renewed at the original voted 2.0000 mills ($2.00 per $1,000 of taxable value) and levied for 4 years, 2013 through 2016 inclusive, for maintenance of Fremont Township roads and bridges, raising an estimated $60,000 in the first year the millage is levied?[1][2]
