This measure sought to renew the current township transit levy which is set at a rate of $.75 per $1,000 of assessed value for a further three years in order to continue to pay for the Lake Erie Transportation services and bus services offered in the township.[2]

Text of measure

The question on the ballot:

Shall Frenchtown Charter Township levy a tax renewal not to exceed 0.75 mill per year for the purpose of Lake Erie Transit continuing to provide local bus service, each year for three (3) years, being tax years 2013 through 2015, inclusive, and if approved will raise in the first year of levy estimated revenue of $902,900.00. This tax shall not be part of Frenchtown Charter Township's charter limitation of millage.[3]
