Fresno County Services Performed by Independent Contractors, Measure O (November 2012)
If Measure O had been approved, it would have allowed Fresno County to employ independent contractors for services performed by County employees by majority vote of the Fresno County Board of Supervisors. There are five members on the Fresno County Board of Supervisors; it takes a vote of four of them to allow the county to hire independent contractors. Measure O would have lowered the number of required votes from four to three.
