This measure sought to renew the current school levy which is set at a rate of 2.34 mills for a further ten years in order to help pay for emergency requirements as needed by the school district.[2]

The question on the ballot:

Shall a levy renewing an existing levy be imposed by the Frontier Local School District for the purpose of providing for the emergency requirements of the School District in the sum of $124,570 and a levy of taxes to be made outside of the ten-mill limitation estimated by the county auditor to average 2.34 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to 23.4 cents for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for a period of 10 years, commencing in 2011, first due in calendar year 2012?[3]
