G. T. "Bud" Martin was a 2012 Libertarian candidate for District 27 of the Colorado House of Representatives.

Martin earned his B.A. in Communications from WV State College in 1979. He went on to receive his M.S. in Public Administration from International University in 1980. In 1997, he earned his PhD in Sociology from LaSalle University.[1]

Martin ran in the 2012 election for Colorado House of Representatives District 27. He ran unopposed in the June 26, 2012, Libertarian primary. He was defeated by incumbent Libbi Szabo (R) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[2]
