Gary Port is a 2014 Democratic candidate for District 19 of the New York State Assembly.

Elections for the office of New York State Assembly will take place in 2014. A primary election took place September 9, 2014. The general election will be held on November 4, 2014. The signature-filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was July 10, 2014. Gary B. Port was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while incumbent Edward Ra was unopposed in the Republican primary. Port is running on the Working Families Party ticket and Ra is running on the Conservative Party, Tax Revolt Party (TRP) and Independence Party of New York State tickets. Port and Ra will face off in the general election.[1][2]

Port ran in the 2012 election for New York State Assembly District 19. He ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on September 13, 2012. He was defeated by Incumbent Edward P. Ra in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[3][4][5]
