A Grafton Township Building Bond Measure was on the November 2, 2010 ballot in the township of Grafton, which is in McHenry County.

This measure was defeated

  • YES 2,179 (15.5%)
  • NO 11,883 (84.5%)Defeatedd[1]

This measure sought to create a bond in the amount of $3 million in order to help build a new township hall.[2] Township officials noted that even if this had been approved, the township would not borrow the money because they had no budget for it. Any changes to the town hall would be at least three years down the road. Though the town still was encouraging a vote on the issue since it would give officials an idea of what residents felt about the issue.[3]
