Grand Prairie, Green Camp & Pleasant Township Electrical Aggregation Questions, 3 (November 2011)

Three Township Electrical Aggregation Questions were on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the townships of Grand Prairie, Green Camp and Pleasant which are in Marion County.

All three measures were approved[1]

These measures sought to allow the aggregation of electricity in the three townships so as to obtain lower rates for residents who could also be able to opt out of the program if they wanted.[2] Aggregation allows the township governments to shop for electricity at a group rate and also to shop around for different providers if they are not happy with the current one.[3]
