Language on the ballot:

Shall the limitation on the amount of taxes which may be assessed against all property in Grant Township, Oceana County, Michigan for library services be renewed by not more than .2497 mills (twenty-four 97/100 cents on each $1,000.00) of the State Tax Valuation for a period of six (6) years 2012 through 2017 and an additional (.0003 mills .03/100 cents on each $1,000.00) of the State Tax Valuation for a period of six (6) years 2012 through 2017 for a total of .2500 mills for the purpose of providing library services for the Shelby District Library and shall the Township levy such increases in millage for said purposes thereby raising in the first year an estimated $20,000.00?
