The question on the ballot:
|Shall the tax limitation on general ad valorem taxes within Green Oak Charter Township, Livingston County, imposed under Article IX, Sec. 6 of the Michigan Constitution be increased in an amount not to exceed 2.0 mills ($2.00 per $1,000 of taxable value) for the period of five (5) years (December 2011 through December 2015 inclusive) for the purpose of providing funds for the general operations of and purchase of equipment and vehicles for the Green Oak Charter Township Fire Department; and shall the Township levy such new additional millage for said purpose, thereby, raising in the first year an estimated $1,659,164.00?|
