A Greenfield School District Bond Measure was on the April 3, 2012 ballot in the Greenfield school district area which is in Dade County.

This measure was approved

  • YES 387 (73.8%)Approveda
  • NO 137 (26.1%)[1]

This measure sought to issue a bond in the amount of $1.5 million in order to help pay for converting the school basement shelter into a larger and safer storm shelter as well as make improvements to the computer lab and cafeteria and build a community room. The bond will not add to the current tax rate in the district, but will just extend the current rate for the repayment of the new bond. School officials noted that the previous bond had already been repaid and levy rates even went down slightly last year, making this new bond a good investment for the district.[2]
