Prior to his appointment to the NYPSC, Sayre served as Associate General Counsel of Frontier Communications Corporation. He had worked for Frontier's legal department since 1987. Prior to that he was a regulatory attorney for The Chesapeake and Potomac Telephone Companies and an attorney with the Law Bureau of the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission.

I look forward to working with my fellow Commissioners and the staff of the New York State Public Service Commission as we address those critical public policy issues that will affect the future of our state.”
