An effort to recall Mayor Fritz Haemmerle and council members Carol Brown and Martha Burke in Hailey, Idaho from their positions was launched in May 2014.[1]

Recall proponent arguments

Bob Wiederrick launched the recall effort, citing as grounds for doing so the officials' decision to appeal a court ruling that prevented the city from collecting annexation fees from a development company.[1]

Wiederrick launched the recall effort on May 5, 2014. He will need to collect 748 valid signatures in order to trigger a recall election. As of May 7, 2014, he had collected three signatures.[1][2]
