Dale Lynch is the director of schools for Hamblen County Schools. He has served in this position since 2001. Prior to joining the district, Lynch was the director of schools and assistant director of schools for Elizabethton City Schools. He also served as an assistant principal for Washington County Schools. Lynch earned his bachelor's degree from Milligan College. Lynch earned his master's and doctoral degrees from East Tennessee State University.[5]

Academic performance

The Tennessee Comprehensive Assessment Program, or TCAP, is a set of statewide assessments given in Tennessee to measure students' skills and progress. Students in grades 3-8 take the Achievement Test, and high school students take End of Course exams for various subjects.
