Former TV judge Joe Brown jailed for contempt
According to a story in the Huffington Post, TMZ reported the former television judge, Joe Brown, appeared before juvenile court magistrate Horne. Brown was in court to represent a client who had to appear for a child support matter.
During his appearance in Horne's court, Brown began shouting and became verbally abusive. He was ordered by Horne to calm down. When he continued his outburst, he was arrested. Brown was ultimately charged with five counts of contempt. He spent some time in jail, although it was unclear how long he remained in custody.
Brown's reality show, Judge Joe Brown, was taken off the air in 2013, after airing for 15 years.
