Senate Committees
The Health, Government and Indian Affairs Committee was a standing committee of the New Mexico House of Representatives. In 2015, this committee was changed to the Government, Elections and Indian Affairs Committee.

Per Section 9.1 of the House Rules, committees of the New Mexico House of Representatives are appointed by the Speaker of the House.[1] The rules do not specify when or how often committees are assigned. The Speaker shall appoint a chairman of each committee after committees are assigned.[2]
