A Highland County Superintendent Election Question was on the November 2, 2010 ballot in Highlands County.

This measure asked residents if they want to allow the School Superintendent to be appointed by the School Board or keep it an elected position.[2] This in favor of having the Superintendent appointed noted that it would open up the position to more people but opponents noted that it would cost more to have it an appointed position. Most state appoint their Superintendents.[3]
