A Holly Hill Term Limit Reduction measure was on the August 24, 2010 ballot in the city of Holly Hill which is in Volusia County.

This measure was approved

  • YES 813 (53.77%)Approveda
  • NO 699 (46.23%)[1]

This measure sought to reduce terms of city elected officials from four years to two. The measure will also eliminate staggered terms for city officials.[2] Though some officials were concerned because of the placement of this measure, it was on the back of the ballot page, concerned that residents will not think to turn it over and forget to vote on the issue. Others noted that the placement has nothing to do with the issue and concerns are not warranted.[3]
