The Homeland Security Committee is a standing committee of the Arizona Legislature.

Committees of the Arizona State Legislature are governed by the Arizona Revised Statutes. Committees may be chosen by each chamber's presiding officer or have specific members as outlined in the statutes.[1]

Function

To provide a forum for persons to express their concerns about state programs that relate to homeland security and make administrative and legislative recommendations concerning homeland security issues. The Committee shall have access to all homeland security grant information on request of the Chair of the Committee or a majority vote of the Committee.[2]
