An Indian Creek Local School District Bond & Tax Issue question was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Jefferson County, which is in Ohio, where it was defeated.

This question would have authorized the Indian Creek Local School District to issue bonds and increase debt in the amount of $22 million in order to fund acquiring land and interests in land. The estimated tax necessary to pay off this debt is 3.5 mills ($3.5 per $1,000 of assessed valuation). This debt would be paid off in 37 years. This question would have also authorized a property tax increase in the district of 1.45 mills ($1.45 per $1,000 of assessed valuation) for five years in order to fund current expenses.[1]
