|Not on Ballot|
| This measure did not or |
will not appear on a ballot
An Indiana Right-to-Work Measure did not make a 2012 ballot in the state of Indiana as a proposed legislatively-referred constitutional amendment. The measure would ban unions from collecting mandatory representation fees from workers. The measure was a version of House Bill 1001 rewritten by Democrats in the House as a constitutional amendment to be voted on as a public referendum.
Path to the ballot
According to reports, the Indiana House of Representatives voted on the measure on January 17, 2012. The measure was blocked by the House and will, therefore, not appear on the ballot as a public referendum.
